DONATION STATION
What?? RP Costs money!? Naaahh!
Yes, Black Prism actually costs a considerable amount of money per month to run. Whenever the donations can't pay for it, I do, but that's okay, cause I love you all.

  • $79.99 / year (or $10.00 / month) // JCINK Premium Service
This service allows us 2 extra GB of data, ad-free environment and allowance of matured rated content.

  • $10-20 / year // Domain Name
This allows us a more 'official' feel and also an easier way to link to us. Unfortunately, the price of the domain varies annually. Currently, I can get black-prism.net for ~10.00 but this changes frequently.

  • $9.00 / month // Pro Chatbox
Allows auto-refresh, no advertisements, custom CSS, proxy control and much much more.

So, as you can see, to run a website at full capacity, it'll take approximately $21.00 per month or $190.00 per year if paid in full. I am currently paying for the cbox myself at $9.00 a month. Unfortunately, until I get a job, that is all I can put forth at this time. That leaves $12.00 a month needed to be raised or, we continue the way we are.

What do I get if I donate?
We've been thinking of incentives for donation and have come up with the following:

Total Donation:

  • $5.00 // Titled Credit beneath Credits.
  • $10.00 //
A plot prompt complete with gems and prizes upon completion for two characters of the players choice (does not have to be your own character).

  • $20.00 //
An item or ability associated with novels (i.e. A ka'kari (from Night Angel) or ability associated with a drafter God from the novels (from Lightbringer)

  • $40.00 //
A mythological muse lottery complete with unique custom powers, one unique item, a unique plot for you to play. This item may be exchangeable upon request for those that don't wish to have a new character, we're open to discussion. However, a mythological creature will be limited to one per player so that we don't have a million mythological creatures running around.

You can also donate your mythical to someone else if you so choose.

One last thing.
Unless you discuss it with us, if you donate a solid number amount ($10.00, $20.00, $40.00) you get that prize. That is to say, if you donate the $40.00 outright, we assume you are forfeiting the other prizes (except the tag credit as those will always be automatic) at this time to achieve the max prize and save the other prizes for a later donation or the achievement system since the $10.00 can easily be earned that way.
How do I donate?
We will be using Paypal, and the e-mail you use to Send Money is omniscient.delphi@gmail.com. It's US dollars and please be sure to include who you are in a message of some sort when donating so we are aware that it is you.

Scion of Anat

HISTORY

You are the Child of a Goddess. In the days of ancient Egypt she was called by many names and you were birthed to the Pharaoh her will on earth. Anat was your mother. The Sub-red Luxin made flesh. The fire crystal goddess. Wrath incarnate. One day she kissed your forehead, told you to burn the Ka'kari and walked into the desert never to be seen again.

Athough you aren't a goddess like your mother, you have walked the earth as her. Been worshiped as her. And done her bidding. You are the scion of a color god. Your blood burns like fire. Your kisses melt the ice cold hearts of men.

When you grew into a woman, and the dynasty that raised you passed into the sands of time, you walked along the earth, and you met the man that would never be your husband. He was said to also be the blood of a god. The blood of Achilles. Alexander the Great. He fell deeply, darkly, obsessively in love with you and in return for his devotion, you helped serve him the world on a silver platter. It was you that broke the Persian empire and their Brown Ka'kari who pretended to be Ahura Mazda, on his spears. It was you that burned the earth for the second time at Carthage so nothing would ever grow again. You walked beside him into the gates of Babylon and burned men alive in the name of Anat, your mother.

And when Alexander died it was you that cried tears of fire and made Vesuvius shake the Earth again. Since then you have been searching for your brothers and sisters. The other children of the color gods, and their dark master, the Abbadon. You lived in Greece, with Alexander's mother, a sub-red Drafter called Olympia, and with her magic she helped you to send a message to the others. And you waited. Lifetimes you waited, but they never came.

In a new age, a different time. You slept in the fires of a volcano and swam in molten rock. You set fire to the rain and burned cities to the ground. And the world turned and the world changed. technology, economy, travel, even war became streamlined, and it became a smaller place. You could no longer perch from your mountain and glare at the insects crawling on the face of the earth.

It was time to find them. Find them and call them and bring them to you. The war of magic was coming. No longer would you sit by idly while talented and their Ka'kari masters threatened drafter culture. It was time to find the other children of sins. Find your siblings and in the name of your parents drive the talent from the realm. And Northern Lochstone was the perfect place to start looking.

POWERS

Luxin of Anat: You are capable of drafting sub-red luxin endlessly, making you able to create explosives out of thin air. You can draft the full spectrum of it and the lower spectrum of red. You do not have a halo and never risk becoming a color wight. You are also able to manipulate the sub-red luxin of other drafters, changing how it forms at will. As well you can cause a sub-red drafter's halo to fill up faster or slower when they draft, forcing them closer to breaking the halo, and lastly you can force sub-red color wights to obey your commands. You may draft for up to 24 hours before you will enter a coma for a weeks time.

Blood & Flames: Being a scion you are able to withstand fire, magma, lava, and heat supernaturally, you cannot be burned, and are for all intents and purposes immortal. Furthermore you are able to take on the form of actual sub-red luxin, becoming gas, liquid or solid and reforming into yourself at will. kinda like Emma Frost

Ragewalker: You have the ability to fan the flames of rage and feed on it. While you can't make someone who is perfectly calm angry, you can make a slightly irritated person infuriated, and even homicidal. You may also feed on this emotion gaining metaphysical power from it. By feeding on rage you are able to replenish your ability to use your other powers, making them stronger or capable of using them longer without consequences.

Weakness - You are incapable of using your abilities without light. Any of your abilitiesa, meaning in the darkest night you are quite vulnerable, though still immortal. Absolute Perfect Superviolet Luxin stabbed into your heart will kill you. This requires the absolute perfect drafting into a physical shard and can only be wielded by a pure Superviolet drafter. Your magic can also be trapped inside of the Purana: Mirror of Wrath which was in the Museum of History in Northern Lochstone. If this happens you lose all of your abilities and become mortal and quite squishy until the mirror is broken.

PLOT

Olympia prophesied to you that one day your powers would be taken from you through a mirror. It was a disturbing thought, and it was while searching online for your siblings that you came across the very mirror. Which is the reason that you decided to travel to Northern Lochstone in order to subvert the prophesy.

Except when you arrived at the museum it isn't there. After a bit of investigation and the help of a psychic you discover that it has been stolen by a famous thief by the name of Batalaus. He may still be somewhere in the capital of the Sa'kage and the Chromeria, and it will take everything for you to find him.

At the moment though the Museum informs you that they are getting a replica shipped to them in another color. Could this be the mirror of another scion? What will you do with it when it arrives? Smashing it could mean ending the threat to another of your brethren, while keeping it could be the key to gaining more power, or possibly conjuring an Actual Color god, which might mean help in finding your mother. What to do, What to do?

I T E M

Salamander's ring - Forged of perfect fire crystals that are stable and beautiful, this ring was given to you by Alexander the Great. It was to be your engagement ring. It has the power to quell flames and force them to dissipate and go out. Useful for after you burn a city to the ground, or putting out candles. It also allows you to command Salamanders; tricksome fire fairies.

THE BROWN KA'KARI

HISTORY

Approximately 539 BC in Opis, east of the Tigris River, you awoke to the sound of swords singing you the song of their people. As the Babylonian army clashed against the Persians, and the earth soaked up the blood, you were filled with a heavy, solemn, distressing knowledge. You were a Ka'kari. The personification of a weapon. A mythical creature of the earth. These humans, these insects walked over your ground because you let them.

You rose up and the earth cracked, and the warriors died, and the fighting stopped. The Persians, triumphant because of you, bowed before your might. King Cyrus the Great came to you, beckoned you. It was insignificant to you but to this King you were the reason he received his crowning jewel in the Empire. You were his god made flesh. Marveling at your own power, and lost, without another Ka'kari, you agreed to let him keep you. Together you and the Persian's walked into Babylon as Conquerors.

You were worshiped as the God, Ahura Mazda, the benevolent uncreated spirit of the Zoroastrian faith. And for many years you thought that this was true. That you truly were a god. until you met one. You had heard of her. When the empire lost Egypt. She was there. When the uprising in Babylon happened, it is said that she was there.

It was in 330BC, around two hundred years on when the descendants of Cyrus ran their armies against Alexander the Great. They were losing for once in all those years. You stepped forward to face the young king and at his beck and call was Anat, the goddess of Rage. She burned the armies of Darius III, she scorched the earth and where she stepped you knew nothing would ever grow again. For once since you were born you felt fear, and you fled. She was wrath made flesh. Sub-red Luxin pretending to be a human woman. A demon. A devil.

She didn't follow, but you knew in your heart of hearts, that there were more like her, and you knew as well that their were more like you. You wanted to find them. To hold them in your arms, to be a part of something. But most of all you wanted them to help you stop her and hers.

Its been almost two thousand years, and you have only found one. One Ka'kari in all the world. She was stabbed through the heart with a knife, a blade more beautiful and terrible to you than all the Luxin Gods combined. It was her Ka'kari. Her soul knife. You watched the Blue Ka'kari's light fade out and her and the knife disappeared and that night the sea churned. Hurricanes, tsunamis, tidal waves, storms, all threatened to swallow the earth, only you stopped it. You trembled and shook and you knew now, that you could die. It was time to find your soul knife.

POWERS

One with Stone: It takes only a moment for your skin to shift from the soft, tender flesh of man to the stones of the ground. It makes you nigh immune to damage, and increases your weight to around two thousand pounds. It doesn't make you invincible. Anything that can damage rock can damage you but other than that your basically a member of the fantastic four! Generally you can remain this way for up to an hour before you need to take human form, and resting is a must afterwards. Shifting between the two forms will grant you some regeneration as well, but with all the energy it consumes, you will feel drained and tired. Do it too much and you could find yourself asleep for the next two hundred years.

Foundations of the Earth: Your strength is far beyond a humans. You could rip a car door off without breaking a sweat. Your strength is rooted in the Earth. In the kinetic energy that remains dormant inside it. You have it with you as long as you are connected to the earth. If that connection is broken your strength becomes ordinary. You have to have at least a foot on the ground. Flying in airplanes is a big no no for you, and every time you have sailed on a ship it has been the worst.

Tectonic Titan:With concentration and a bit of anger you can cause small scale earthquakes to occur in the area. It is a seismic event that stems directly from your connection to the earth. These quakes take alot out of you, and tend to cause massive destruction. They take alot out of you. A 5.5 to a 6.0 and you can still fight a battle. Any higher and you are down for 24 hours.

Weakness - The Brown Ka'kari: Soulknife. An ornate knife made of stone that gives the wielder the powers of the earth. Being stabbed by this knife can kill you. The one who wields the knife can also control you if they know how and aren't afraid to boss around a titan of the earth.

PLOT

When you saw the Blue Ka’Kari die, and her soul knife disappeared, save for the tip, you held on to it. All these years. You have traveled the word searching for the others, and finally a talented psychic saw you in Italy. You had the piece of the knife in your pocket, as always. The psychic came out to you and prophesied of the rebirth of the Blue Ka’Kari. ’The one you seek, the beautiful Queen has been reborn. Hidden in the dark alleys where all the criminals report. There you will find him. Others will come later. Watch for the scions. They are coming as well.’ The psychic had no idea what she said to you, the woman was dazed, and walked away as if nothing happened.

The Blue Ka’Kari is in the Slums of Lochstone. He is waiting for you. The two of you can find others. Your item will help warn you of at least one scion. Protect it.

I T E M

Burnt Earth :After your battle with Anat you were sent a piece of earth from the day of your standoff. They day you received it the charred earth reacted to you, flowing through you causing you to be a magma golem of luxin temporally. It was Anat letting you know she knew where you were. She will always find you. But, this piece of earth always feels warm to the touch, and once in Lochstone you noticed it is even warmer. It warns you when her scion is near. It’s enough time to avoid a confrontation if needed, or maybe find her to sabotage her plans.

BLUE KA'KARI

HISTORY

You are the second Blue Ka'kari. Born in 1995, you are only twenty years old. But you remember all those years ago when you lived among the City under the Sea. Beside the water fae, as a beautiful woman. You were a queen to their king. You didn't love him, but he loved you and that was all that really mattered. You could sweep the ocean and call to all the life of the waters of the earth. You were majestic and regal. And then you died.

You began hearing his voice in the back of your mind. The Sin of pride. Ferrilux. Superviolet luxin made flesh. He liked you. He wanted you, and you wanted him. For months you whispered to each other. You told him about your soulknife, that was your mistake.

It was your own fault. You promised your husband your fidelity and you would have kept this promise if it hadn't been for Ferrilux. He had your soulknife. The ka'kari knife which gave the wielder the ability to control you. You became his slave. You made love to him. You killed for him. And you remained the Queen, because having the Queen of Atlantis at your beck and call was useful. Until your husband found out. The Fae king had always been the clever sort.

He found Ferrilux's lair and he took the knife. He bound the superviolet god's magic to drown him for all of eternity and then he plunged the knife into your heart and didn't even stay to watch you die. But the Brown Ka'kari stumbled upon you, and even as your power threatened to swallow the earth he held you in his arms, and he fought against your death knell.

And then you were born again. The Blue Ka'kari was reforged, somehow, by something. You knew just as you existed that so did it. You walked through empty hallways, and drank from empty cups. You were locked in a cage made of white washed walls and unmade beds, constantly feeling the call of the ocean in your new body, and somehow, someway not being able to reach it. You knew that you were hundreds of miles beneath the ocean, in something like a lab.

And then one day the door opened. Batalaus smiled at you. The little thief boy grinned and let you out, and you drowned the laboratory prison they had kept you in. You thanked him and just like that he was gone and you were alone again. You wanted to find the Brown ka'kari and tell him that you remembered. You wanted to find Ferrilux and make him suffer. You wanted to reach out to The King of Depths. Instead you walked to Northern Lochstone to watch the petty humans playing their petty games..

POWERS

Nereid Made: You can control water, in it's many forms, in the same way as a blue talented might, but your power supersedes theirs. Ice is not a part of this unfortunately, in fact frozen water is outside of your purview, but you more than make up for that by being able to drawn the moisture right out of the air. You can also control the animals of the sea, and entities of the aquatic sort. Like Aquaman

Rivers Run Red: You have the ability to suck the liquid from a person's blood with sheer force of will. You can also bend the liquid in their blood to your will, making them move as you direct. Kind of like blood bending from avatar. Someone with an exceptionally strong will might be able to resist as well as blue talented.

Torrential Titan:With this power you are capable of calling to the sea to flood the area around you, even from miles away. You can create tsunami's and whirlpools and drown a whole city though it is likely to put you in a coma for the next few days. Otherwise any form of watre is at your control. While in water higher than knee deep you become pretty much invincible to all but your soulknife.

Weakness - The Blue Ka'kari. An ornate knife made of mosaic glass and sea shell that gives the wielder the powers of the sea. Being stabbed by this knife can kill you. The one who wields the knife can also control you if they know how and aren't afraid to boss around a titan of the sea.

PLOT

Northern Lochstone might have been a great place to start, but you found out quickly you did not rule here. You awoke with no money, and no one to turn to. Northern Lochstone isn’t a place for the poor. Sure, you can use your powers to force people to give you things, but being too scary can be a bad thing. Someone noticed you at the beach playing with the water in a way only a blue talented could. The woman yelled many insults out of fear and hatred for those in the South.

You decided to find this ‘south’ and ‘slums’ where you were told people like you belong. Did that mean Batalaus, the thief that let you out was there? You should be able to find him. Unfortunately this was a misunderstanding. Instead you find yourself homeless walking through dark alleys. Someone will surely take pity on you? You were once a Queen!

You need to find Batalaus, and get the information on what was used to trap a Ka’Kari! Could that be used to trap Ferrilux and have him imprisoned? Then you could always be safe.

I T E M

Leather Cuff: No matter where you go, there is always a sea creature with you. Specifically an octopus. In times of need you will be able to take the tentacles and use them for yourself. It’s quite scary to see a man with tentacles, so this only works in desperate times to protect your identity.

BLUE KA'KARI: SOULKNIFE

HISTORY

This beautiful modern style blade, is forged with mosaic glass and seashell. It appears delicate and ornamental, but a single slice shows that it is incredibly sharp.

In origin there was one Ka'kari. The first Night Angel, The Angel of Vengeance, with a gleaming black knife that cut the soul. He was struck down by a great evil and his Soulknife fell to the earth. Walking among the desert sand in the mythical city of Iram, was one who blasphemed by mimicking the power of God. He who was called Ezra The Mad. Ezra who could not touch the Soulknife, studied the artifact, and when he was ready, he forged identical knives and bound them to the great titans that ruled the north. He bound large portions of their power in the knives and locked them away so they could not destroy the Earth, in hopes of destroying the titans once and for all.

The Blue Ka'kari Soulknife was used to kill the Titan of the Sea, many years ago, but the reincarnation of Ezra The Mad used his fell magic, to reforge the eldritch knife just a few short years ago.

POWERS

Tears of Venality:- Originally the Blue Ka'kari Soulknife had the ability to create powerful pressures like the deepest trench, this is when it was ancient and old. As it was recrafted in 1995, it seems to have adopted some of the toxicity of the breakdown of the waters of the earth. Now the wielder becomes completely immune to any form of acidity, and by lifting the knife to the sky can conjure an acidic rain like that of the polluted waters from industrialization. The Acidic Rain covers up to a square mile area, and can be anywhere from caustic sprinkle to a metal eating downpour.

The Soulknife also has the unique ability to control the Blue Ka'kari to a degree. While holding the knife and with strong concentration the wielder can force a compulsion on the Ka'kari. If the demand is adverse to the Ka'kari's nature, there is a chance that the titan may resist. If the compulsion is cordial with the titan's nature, it is unlikely they will be capable of resisting.

By stabbing the Ka'kari in the heart with their soulknife, You can kill a Ka'kari, but in the process you will lose the soulknife, and it's parts will break and be scattered to the corners of the earth.

PLOT

Your Soulknife appears to you in a dream. You were chosen to wield it’s power. A beautiful woman not of this world tells you the basics of what it can do, and how you must protect it. You know the Blue Ka'kari has been reborn, but nothing else of them.

Once you awake the Soulknife is in your bed, and the dream seems fuzzy but you remember it. After close inspection you’ll find the Soulknife isn’t complete. The tip is missing. It’s only a small shard, but it is the reason you will not be able to fully control the Blue Ka’kari. The tip is currently in the hands of the Brown Ka’kari. Is it worth searching for it? Would you be able to steal it? All you know is there is an overwhelming feeling to make the Soulknife complete, and the only way to do that is to steal the piece from the Brown Ka’kari and then hope the reincarnation of Ezra will help you fix it.

Who can you trust, and how can you afford to get these favors? You have a long journey ahead of you, as well a lot of planning to do. Good luck.

PURANA: MIRROR OF ENVY

HISTORY

This small mirror fits neatly in the palm of your hand. It appears to be made of stained glass mosaic tiles and sapphires mixed with blue luxin. Closer inspection shows the mirror itself is made of highly reflective prism particles.

When Abbadon stole God's light and split it, bequeathing each color to seven Angels, he used a prism of pure energy to do it. Splitting the light caused the prism to shatter, but Abbadon was paranoid and so he gave the shards to his servants in the East and had them forge his ancient mirrors, as insurance in case the Color gods ever turned on him.

Unfortunately, Nysos kept an eye on the mirrors, and under the guise of the thief Batalaus, burgled the mirrors and gave them away to monasteries throughout the world to keep them in human hands..

POWERS

Mot's Transition:- By looking into the Mirror of Envy and envisioning, envying anyone in the world, you are capable of transforming into that individual in every way. You gain their abilities, their features, their bodies, etc. However you do not gain their thoughts or memories. You are still essentially yourself. Any attempts to impersonate them are inherently flawed, unless you know them well enough to impersonate, and any attempts to use their abilities will never be as good as their own. If you do not Envy them you are incapable of taking their form, even for cosmetic purposes.

The Mirror also has the ability to capture the original light of any Scion of Mot. Their immortality, magics, and power over others can be captured if they attempt to use their powers on the person wielding the mirror, However, the mirror must be present, out in the open, and must openly reflect the Scion of Mot.

PLOT

On Christmas morning you receive a beautiful wrapped package with your name on it. It is signed simply Batalaus. When you open it up, you will find this mirror, you have no clue what it can do or even why you have it.

It is a warning. The Scion Mot will be coming. Either reborn or the original. It is unknown at this time. Batalaus has been watching you, and sent the mirror for you to hold on to. He chose you due to your relationship a meister. It’s also an offering, a way to gain your trust in order to eventually find a way to get to Camila. She holds an ancient book that has been past down from generations of meisters and there is a single page, in code that Camila hasn’t been able to decipher about how to get rid of the Vir taint.

Of course with Batalaus wanting to use you, and deep down knowing this mirror is an omen that something big is coming… when The Scion Mot comes, they will be looking for their mirror. What will you do? Batalaus might just protect you if you can get that book for him. In return, he will tell you all about the mirror.

NYSOS, LORD OF NIGHT

HISTORY

Once you were called Nysos, the Lord of Night, and Wetboys, those with the talent of Spirit prayed to you. Some, many, still do. the believed you were a God and in a way you were, the talent of spirit was born in your veins, but truly you were a Night Angel, not that anyone needed to know different. You were the God of Shadows and Death. Lord of potent liquids; blood, semen, wine, and poison. Nysos meaning an effort to realize an aim. Latin nisus, from past participle of niti, to strive. Attainment; effort; impulse. You would still be an Angel if it weren't for Abbadon.

It offered you true power. The power to be a real god, and as gods do, to protect your disciples. And all you had to do was lead it to the light. And you did, and it split the light into many colors, and god was angry, and luxin was forged, and drafters were born. And Abbadon fulfilled his promise, but you weren't a God. You became something far worse. The first Stranger. The first Demon. A fallen Angel to roam the earth. From you all Strangers were born, and you lost your soul.

Fortunately, you have a healthy sense of humor. So despite your massive fuck up, you decided to do things your way. When you met the Witch Khali, you knew that she was something special. the two of you were married in flesh and her black veins became the key to sealing away your progeny. Her Vir magic became the cage for the Strangers, and she became your eternal ally, and for years you walked together, until the day you had a son. You named him Goddard, and he was bright eyed and beautiful, and he grew into a singularly powerful man.

Until he became hungry for his mother's power, and locked her away in the Blackened Barrow. And stole her Vir, and drained the Godkings, and the Vurdmeisters, and the Meisters, and he looked at you and asked if Daddy was proud. So you left. cause killing your own son was impossible.

And you adopted a new name. No longer were you Nysos, Lord of Night, or the Stranger. You became Batalaus. A thief who wandered in the night. You got the childhood you never experienced as you walked the earth playing tricks on the mighty and stealing the legendary. It was you who took the Sorceress Sindeok's magical Regalia, cause little girls shouldn't play with fire. You took The Egyptian's Amun talismans, and the Amulet Goddard trapped the first Vir Shifter in. She became a close friend. You let the Blue Ka'kari loose when they remade him, and snatched the Purana of Rage from Anat's grasp just in the nick of time. Except you have a nasty habit of losing your treasures. Tsk tsk.

And despite all attempts to have a lush and furtive normal life, you still managed to became something of an infamous creature. You always had an ear out to the ground, and it was the saddest of days when you heard the news that your son, Goddard died. You didn't shed a tear, too afraid of the fact that you could already feel the weave that bound Khali and The Strangers fraying at the edges. Being locked away with demons for hundreds of years couldn't have done much good for her sanity. The missus was bound to be a little peeved.

POWERS

Original Sinner:You are the source of the Wetboy's power. Though you weren't the first Night Angel, you were the scariest. You have all the powers of a perfect Wetboy with a slight edge in that your spirit can effect and manipulate the Talent of others, with the exception of Meisters since their wells are broken and flow through Khali. You can also bend darkness and shadows to your whim, Stepping across the world through a shadow, or freezing others in place by manipulating their shadows. You may bring up to one person with you through the world of Shadows known as the Blackened Barrows, but that's awfully dangerous for anyone but you, cause The Strangers and Khali are there, among other things.

Know thy Stranger:Strangers/Demons were born from your folly. Though they worship you, you are the first but, you cast them away. Only a few Strangers still walk the earth, and they are yours to command, though Meisters can exert some control over them because of their tie to Khali, you may also summon them from the Blackened Barrow, and you may manipulate and control anyone whose power stems from demons;

Not much is known about the Strangers. They have no physical bodies, but it is believed that they once did. They are also known as krul. They inhabit the bones of dead creatures and use magic to form the flesh so that they seem to be a deformed version of the creature that the bones belonged to.

They have an incredible hatred towards the living, and will pervert and destroy any living creature if they can. Experiments have been conducted where a krul was put in a room with a prisoner, and told that if he killed the prisoner, he would be killed in turn. Every time, the krul killed the prisoner. This experiment was repeated with: men, women, old men and children. The result was the same, except that they killed the children more quickly. They also have a hunger for human flesh and eating it seems to make them stronger although it is unknown why.

Their number system is based on thirteen, this is where the suspicions about the number are thought to have come from. They are rigidly bound to those numbers. For example a meister can lead twelve krul himself, but if he wishes to lead thirteen or more he must master a thirteenth (a Daemon), which is different and more difficult.

Fallen from Grace:Upon Abbadon's betrayal of Nysos, it released great power into the world, and not just the drafters borne of it, but instead chaos. The Strangers had a hunger for it and until they were contained, this power acted upon them. Your character became an uncontrollable beacon in which his presence stirred outrageous chaos in the Strangers. They were crazed and wild, rampaged this earth and destroyed everything they touched, completely uncontrollable even by meisters until your character learned what was acting upon them. It was until Nysos locked away the Strangers that he discovered it was not just their essence but his presence. Since, Nysos has gained control of this ability and it has expanded its tendrils to include not just the tainted and not the Strangers, but any living, organic creature. This ability elicits the urge of chaos and emotionally acts upon an individuals inhibitions. It throws them away, leaving only the promise of fulfilled desires and excitement in servitude of Nysos. People affected by this power only live to make Loki Batalaus happy, believing their chaos and destruction will do just that--it is their sacrifice to him.

Weakness - Your Soul, odd as it sounds, your soul lives a mostly normal lifespan, dies, and is reincarnated. While you are inexplicably drawn to it, whoever they are, they can kill you. It could be as simple as stabbing you with a butter knife a few times. The worst part is? You cannot harm your soul. And yes he has gotten homicidal before. Other weaknesses include potent magical light, like that of several yellow drafters throwing brightwater at you. Or any magic of a holy form, which can effect The Strangers. Normally Meister magic cannot affect you because you and Khali are bound by marriage, however, your soul is infected by Vir so you can be partially affected.

PLOT

It turns out, though you traveled to Lochstone to mourn your son, that your soul is in town. Ha, what a coincidence. While you have quite a few enemies in the area as well, the desire to find the missing piece of you is too great. Time to find yourself yet again.

You quickly discover however that your soul is infected by Vir, making him a shapeshifter. While you have no direct problem with that, once Khali rises she will be more than capable of punishing you for letting your son seal her away. Your immunity is in peril. What will you do? kill your soul and hope the vir taint is washed away by reincarnation? Try to convince him to purify the taint? Or maybe just accept the consequences of his actions and hope wifey isn't too angry with you.

Regardless the clock is ticking and you need to find a way to keep the Strangers sealed away, while letting Khali out. Tick tock, tick tock.

AZTEC FORTUNE: CROW GUARDED MIRROR: The Aztec calendar was not something taken lightly in Aztec culture. It was a means to an end, a way to understand the gods and their doing. They saw the End coming, they saw Nysos and what was born of him coming. A mirror and divining materials, gifts from the Gods, were bestowed upon the people and they used the items given to see into the past, the present and the future. Unfortunately, when the Aztec Empire crashed, so did the mirror and the divining materials--buried under thousands of pounds of rocks, cracked and ruined, and then forgotten.

Years later, the mirror resurfaced. A fragment of its former self, literally, only a large enough piece of the mirror to fashion into a 'recycled' piece of jewelry. The newly emblazoned piece of jewelry this mirror now inhabits is one of 'culture' and 'nature' designed by a company that considers themselves 'environmentally friendly' and all proceeds go to restoring natural territory within the former Aztec Empire. The company, so eloquently dubbed 'Smoking Mirror,' made quite the name for themselves boasting the selling of authentic Aztecian heirlooms that Batalaus couldn't resist knocking them down a peg. The SET was marketed for over one million dollars, claiming to be restored artifacts or resemble them (for charity, duh) and was said to only be worth any value together.

Batalaus broke the value by stealing a single piece, as the mischievous creature often does in want of chaos and because. Little did he know, however, he would actually need the other two pieces. Destiny, fate, whatever you want to call it, brought the Crow Guard Mirror into Batalaus' possession--one of the very few trinkets he can't lose because it will always find its way back to him.

The small pocket-mirror (the watch having been removed because it looked dumb) actually allows Batalaus to see all past, present and future incarnations of his soul. Unfortunately, the image is always hazy, just on the verge of offering real morsels into which one and when it is. Sometimes the mirror provides enough clues that Batalaus can make heads and tails of when and where, a street name here or a futuristic piece of technology there, but for the most part it remains a piece of jewelry constantly reminding him of his future death.

However, the bracelet and earrings both harbor pieces of the Aztec diviners, reused as metals to forge the pieces, and allow a clarity to see into the mirror to really identify where and when the soul is. Unfortunately, when Batalaus stole the Crow Guard, those two pieces went missing. Presumably, into the hands of their own fateful owners.

PURANA: MIRROR OF WRATH

HISTORY

This small mirror fits neatly in the palm of your hand. It appears to be made of stained glass mosaic tiles and sapphires mixed with sub-red and red luxin.

POWERS

Mot's Transition:- By looking into the Mirror of Wrath and envisioning anyone in the world, you may bring wrath upon them. It works the strongest on people you have met before, and weaker on strangers or those who are naturally happy. You must be filled with your own rage to do this. As you see your target in the mirror, the pent up wrath inside of you will flow to them, as little or as much as you want. It might start out with something as small as being more irritable for the day to full blown homicidal thoughts.

The Mirror also has the ability to capture the original light of any Scion of Mot. Their immortality, magics, and power over others can be captured if they attempt to use their powers on the person wielding the mirror, However, the mirror must be present, out in the open, and must openly reflect the Scion of Mot.

PLOT

The Mirror of Wrath was once in the Lochstone museum. Batalus stole it recently, and decided to send it to you. It will be early evening when a young girl no older than twelve approaches you with a beautifully wrapped box. She only smiles, double checks your name and walks away. Once you open that red velvet ribbon you find the mirror with a note. love of justice perverted to revenge and spite. It is a hint of what this mirror is.

Batalus sent this mirror to you in hopes you will use it to induce anger on the Shinga and Prism. People in those positions throughout history have held the little people down, don’t you want to bring them down yourself? He knows Anat will be looking for this mirror, which puts you in danger. Maybe if you find him and induce wrath on the Shinga and Prism he will help protect you from her… or help you steal her powers.

You won’t know right away how to use this mirror or how much control at inducing rage in other people, it will likely be on accident the first few times. Batalus can help you… but at a cost.

A POSSIBLE CURE?

The Back Story

Glimmer Pharmaceuticals located in Northern Lochstone has scientist working day and night trying to find a cure. A cure to what, you might ask. Well, that is simple. A cure to the broken wells caused by vir. It took a few months since Goddard died to find something.. but they were successful.

Last night, Steven, Pale Horse's top assassin, a meister was given a contract to take out a scientist at Glimmer Pharmaceuticals. Little is known about what the company is working on behind the scenes. There isn’t much information on who hired Steven or why they wanted the woman taken out. Does it matter? It is a high paying job. Cash was given up front.

Of course, Steven successfully took out his target with ease. The problem came when a vial called to him. As soon as hen touched it something inside him took over. A need to find... something. What was it? Steven had no name for it. He ran unaware of what was driving it.

The Plot

Alex has been sent some odd things recently. He is starting to attract powerful beings in the universe. Is this a good or bad thing?

The next morning when Alex goes to leave the Head Quarters he will find Steven dead or maybe just in a coma at the door. Near him, on the ground, is a small glass vial with a dark liquid inside. It swirls a deep black that shines blue in the light. No note, no indication who it was from or who was meant to receive it can be found. After closer inspection the liquid throbs, and reminds Alex of a Vir tattoo. Who can he trust to ask about it?

The magus would know in Kat's bedroom there are old spell books, and her family’s history of what was learned from a long line of meisters. She can help him.

Note

You do not need to go to Kat. If Alex wouldn’t want to take something like this to her. You do however, need to seek out a meister. I will prompt them, if they agree, via pm as needed. This will be an ongoing plot, with surprise prompts. We can’t reveal too much here, because the ending may become obvious.

Years later, the items resurfaced. The metals and crystals a mangled mess in which much of it was repurposed to fashion this gaudy metallic pair of earrings. This piece of jewelry is one of 'culture' and 'nature' designed by a company that considers themselves 'environmentally friendly' and all proceeds go to restoring natural territory within the former Aztec Empire. The company, so eloquently dubbed 'Smoking Mirror,' made quite the name for themselves boasting the selling of authentic Aztecian heirlooms that Batalaus couldn't resist knocking them down a peg. Little did he know, however, he would actually need the other two pieces. Destiny, fate, whatever you want to call it, brought the Crow Guard Mirror into Batalaus' possession--and somewhere along the timeline the Crow Guard Bracelet into Xia Monroe's hands and the divining earrings set into Ahura's.

The gaudy pair of earrings are easily fashioned into a pair of cufflinks. Crystals of the divining materials were fashioned into these earrings and that is clear by the glimmery shine they give off in excess of the metallic sheen. It was created from one half of the divining materials granted to the Aztecs from their gods and as a result bestows power onto Ahura. When wearing the cufflinks and they are touched together, Ahura is granted the ability to access passed lives. It's not completely clear, but Ahura will be able to completely connect with previous incarnations of the brown ka'kari. At first he will only be able to reliably access two of his previous incarnations because he lives to such an old age, but if he is able to retrieve the other pieces he may be able to remember more. In these two previous incarnations he will temporarily remember memories, experiences, people, other ka'kari, even what his powers used to be and temporarily how to use them. However, after twelve hours of living in memories, they seep back into the cufflinks to recharge... as if they're trying to get you to remember something... or someone.

There always seems to be someone obscured in any memory you relive, Batalaus is never visible no matter how hard he tries and every time he seems Batalaus in person its as if he's meeting someone new (if he's wearing the cufflinks) every single time. It's something to do with the divining materials and the mirror not wanting to be together again... it just might give any one person too much power. And the Aztecs know it.

Ceur'caelestos: The Blade of Heaven

HISTORY

Ceur'caelestos has had many reincarnation's over the past millenia. The Blade of Heaven has taken her roll seriously to guard humans. It has time and time again proven to be a deadly adventure. Humanity hasn't always accepted help so graciously, and others powerful beings have hated the interference.

That didn't deter you from your mission, if anything, it only drove you more.

In the middles ages whispers of the meister's going into hiding reached your ears. They were scaring humanity at the time... some of it rightfully so, some was only stories. Humanity wasn't able to keep facts straight. You sat back, watching, and waiting. Till the constructs were made. The meister's treated the gargoyles poorly. They were simple minded, and didn't last long. Humanity looked towards them for protection from evil and the meisters... they had no clue what was really happening. How could they?

That's when you stepped in.

You were the Blade of Heaven! A warrior. The protector. You blessed the constructs, creating the gargoyles. They no longer reported to the meister's, but you. You taught them to protect humanity in your stead. After all, you couldn't be everywhere all the time. They help you. No matter what body you're in... the gargoyles are drawn to you. They won't always know why, and you won't either. But they are like your children.

Shortly after that, you died again.... this time reborn in New Zealand. Your mission was still the same but you were distracted. You fell in love with a mortal. You were so deeply in love with this man, you chose to spend time having children. As years passed your husband and children grew old, and you were blessed with grandchildren. They were all given weaker powers mimicking your own, and eventually the small community came to worship you. It was then, you were reminded of what you were supposed to be doing in this world. Your husband died, and you tried to bless everyone in the town, however, sick from grief, it was a curse. The community grew and went on, mimicking your likenesses. Pale skin, and white hair. Your grandchildren eventually gave birth to Elora Dowell. The leader of Sanctum of Heaven.

In another body, you found yourself at the side of the great Sorceress Sindeok dealing with a trickster fata named Noir. Banishing a being of any kind to another realm isn't easy, and as much as the Sorceress might not admit it, you helped make the portal. The issue was when the two of you sent Noir in, Dagnu came out. He was banished long before this reincarnation remembers... however, you feel the call to put him back.

You've been hunting Dagnu ever since.

POWERS

Force Field: You can call on the energy around you to create an invisible barrier. like invisible woman Once upon a time, this was big enough to protect a whole town. Now however it spans a few blocks with ease. If you want to protect a whole city, you will lose all your own energy and be weak. You can also 'throw' your field to protect or trap others. They don't last forever, and those that are strong, can break through it.

Light in the Darkness: You are the living embodiment of light. Elora might be able to light up her hands... you however become light. It is why you're so pale and white hair. The light wants to come out of you at all times. It is a sign as the Blade of Heaven. You hold the concepts of purity and seem to be holy. You can convert your light into energy to feed your force fields or extend it to something that can become a weapon. It goes without saying... The Scion's would love to have your around at night. You're also able to 'bless' people and objects. After all, you gave life to the gargoyles.

Awaken the Magic: This ability is fickle, and doesn't always work when you would like. As the Blade of Heaven you're able to awaken hidden magic in people and items. It was a mix of all your powers that helped the Gargoyles. It's possible, you could even awaken a fata..... what would the King and Queen do if they knew that?

Weakness - blade of Ceur'caelestos An ornate large sword made of stone that gives the wielder the powers of the light. Being stabbed by this sword can kill you. The one who wields the sword can also control you if they know how and aren't afraid to boss around the blade of heaven.

PLOT

The Sanctum of Heaven and their regime have set up in Lochstone. You don't fully remember the reincarnation where you started the community, but the name calls to you. The whispers reached you about what happened in the feature, the timelines are a mess. For a reasons unknown... you feel the need to protect your people even more. They are your descendants after all.

Once you reach Lochstone... something else hits you.... Dagnu. He has arrived as well. You still need to banish him. Send him back to that other realm. You sense he's in the city, but pinpointing the location is nearly impossible. Protect your people. Banish Dagnu.... easy right?

I T E M

Ring of Darkness: This was your wedding ring long ago. Every reincarnation since then, it's found you. One way or another. Your magic woke the power within. It will devour the darkness in a room, house, or even city. It can't force night into day, but it will take away the shadows revealing who is lurking in them. Imagine, a whole city with no where to hide....

Scion of Dagnu

HISTORY

You are the Scion of Dagnu. The Red color god. In 519BC you were born Xerxes I of Persia, also known as Xerxes the Great. Dagnu needed you to rule Persia as an up and coming regime, one that would later conquer well known names like Leonidas and leave trails of blood all over Greece and crush revolts in Egypt and Babylon infrequently working with powers such as Anat and other Color gods. Dagnu hungers like none other, blood, food women, money, jewels... all for the taking with the power at your hand and to your head. Dagnu is gluttony incarnate.

The night officially the world crowned you King of Persia, King of Kings, God of Kings, your father--the original God Dagnu--came to you. He explained in quick time that your destiny was to rule as much and for as long as feasibly possible. He imbued upon you the task of destroying an unstoppable force that had been rising in the north and east, the ka'kari--some of them right beneath your own nose (the Brown)--with the help of the other color gods and devices given to the world. In what seemed like an eternity you spoke at length, but when your father left your side you were left only mere moments from your crowning... time had not changed. A power that you enviously wish you could control. And determined to do so (after all you were Dagnu's greatest creation and ruled in his name on this mortal plain, why shouldn't you?)

For years you conquered, you ruled, you rivaled and you had everything to your hearts content (though it was never enough.) You were never satisfied. Dagnu began burning cities to the ground for sheer pleasure of reconquering them and destroying them all over again when they rebuilt some odd years later. Nothing kept your attention for long... until you came across the Fata.

They were power that rivaled yours and you wished to conquer them with the same iron fist you conquered everything in your wake. Dagnu attempted to conquer them like he had everything else, with sheer prowess and numbers, but he could not rival the power of the Fata (they were far too unknown). Having won, the former Unseelie King denounced Dagnu is a false god, and although not technically a creature of rage, Dagnu did not respond well. He worked in tandem with creation he once called enemy Curoch, the Blade of Power, and derived a weakness that the Fata had never seen before.

Disease.

Disease specifically to target and dwindle their power. Dagnu was immortal, he could wait his many days until the Fata were weak enough to be overtaken by his army once more.

Except Ceur'caelestos, the Blade of Heaven, learned of Curoch's betrayal of 'Gods creatures' and exacted a punishment befitting of the crime. Curoch was banished to a forbidden wood and the unsuspecting Dagnu was banished to an alternate reality from which he could not escape. The world was safe, but the damage had been done.

There was nothing in this realm, even your powers did not work the entirety of it acting as a null. It was a desolate place, much like this human earth except no power, no people, and no creatures. A vegetative diet can be rather boring after so much time. He was alone in that world for what felt like eternity and just when he believed he'd never escape, never regain his power, and never die... Noir...

Many years ago Noir was deposited in this world. It was then Dagnu saw his opportunity to escape and while the portal was open, he did just as such. Immediately he recognized the power radiating from the Blade of Heaven and escaped before she could act.

Escaping into this world was not an easy feat and you've spent the better part of the last couple hundred years figuring out how to regain and access what power you once had. On top of that, your army is completely gone (much to your irritation) and you've known Ceur'caelestos to be after you for as long as you can remember. Being one step ahead of the Blade of Heaven isn't easy.

POWERS

Luxin of Dagnu You are capable of drafting red luxin endlessly, making you able to create flame traps and fire works at your will. You can draft the full spectrum of it and the upper spectrum of orange. You do not have a halo and never risk becoming a color wight. You are also able to manipulate the red luxin of other drafters, changing how it forms at will. As well you can cause a red drafter's halo to fill up faster or slower when they draft, forcing them closer to breaking the halo, and lastly you can force red color wights to obey your commands. You may draft for up to 24 hours before you will enter a coma for a weeks time.

Feed Me More: You are the embodiment of gluttony, you are able to eat and consume anything or anyone. like gluttony You're jaw will unhinge like a snake to allow for bigger bites. After eating a person with powers, you are able to tap into them for up to three hours after.... cannibalism never sounded so good.

The Hunger: You have the ability to induce hunger and feed on it. People hunger for all sorts of things, food, money, power, and sex. You're able to feel when someone is slightly 'hungry' and force them the feel 'the hunger'. It's like a starvation, driving them mad till they indulge on it all! You may also feed on this emotion gaining metaphysical power from it. By feeding on 'the hunger' you are able to replenish your ability to use your other powers, making them stronger or capable of using them longer without consequences.

Weakness - Your magic can also be trapped in PURANA: mirror of gulttony which was for sale at the Golden Tiger Auction house in Southern Lochstone. If this happens you lose all of your abilities and become mortal and quite squishy until the mirror is broken. You are incapable of using your abilities without light. Any of your abilities, meaning in the darkest night you are quite vulnerable, though still immortal.

PLOT

Your names are in many history books, but most don't know the truth. Human's books are full of falsehoods, but the Fata... they don't forget. They hate the two that brought them to near extinction. You likely assumed that you and Curoch, the Blade of Power were successful in wiping them out... however you failed, and they remembered.

The Fata are now out to the public, and human's don't know much about them.. you saw a handful of their powers first hand... you know they aren't nearly as pretty as they act. The newly awakened haven't heard your name much... but the older ones... they know you... and they will want revenge for what's happened.

Can you rebuild your army here in Lochstone? Will the human's fight with you against the fata?

I T E M

uncut ruby: Rubies are said to be the 'King of Gemstones', and you found this large one long ago during your glory days. It called to you. The King of Persia and the King of Gems! Many myths are behind rubies, and you never saw they did much... till you were locked away. The ruby helped keep you sane. You talked to it, and you swore it whispered to you. Your companion.

It wasn't till you escaped the ruby grew darker, warning of danger. Ceur'caelestos. This ruby is why you've always been able to stay one step ahead of her. Whenever danger approaches, the ruby will get darker. You need to run! How far depends on the danger.....

FREEDOM

The Back Story

After escaping from the cell Fynn was left with a collar around his neck, and unable to use his powers. Infin8 had fallen, and the guild leader was dead or missing. The guild has been a mess not knowing who to trust. Below the Infin8 headquarters was a bunker almost no one knew of (including Fynn). Somehow it had been infiltrated.

Infin8 was having issues trusting anyone while trying to rebuild. With no leader and no headquarters… there was no structure, no safety, and no one would work together. Lansdowne Tech wanted to fix the fact none of Infin8’s technology was working, but they didn’t trust their employees. The only reason Fynn was allowed to continue to work for them was because the collar was proof, he hadn’t been involved with the fall of the guild. He was a victim.

The Plot

Just a week after Fynn made it home there was a large box that had been sent to his apartment. It was addressed to Fynn the gifted. Taped on top of the box was a letter. It appeared to be written in a hurry or maybe someone with terrible penmanship.

’I imagine you miss being able to teleport all the time. I’m sure your friend misses being able to shift, and the others likely want the collars off. All the collars have a fail-safe. If you take it off without disabling it, you will all die. Here’s some to practice on.

Your friend,
The Color Wight’

Inside the box was a plethora of collars just like the one around his neck. Simple black with a tiny device hidden on the inside. Each had a red light inside of them showing they were indeed active. Also included in the box were some small tools, and a memory card. Surely Fynn could figure this out… and not kill himself in the meantime.

Note

With this information you should be able to have Fynn seeking out help working on this for a thread or two with the other 4 collared people. (Take your pick as to who) This will be an ongoing plot, with surprise prompts. So, Fynn can't figure this out right away. http://files.b1.jcink.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif If you have any questions, please let me know.

FREEDOM

Since the Fourth of July, Fynn has been without his collar. Infin8 still has no leader, and the other four people with collars on are hoping for answers on how to get rid of them without dying. Fynn’s progress has been slow. There’s a limited number of collars in the box, and he has to make sure he can actually test one out before trying to free one of his old cellmates.

A previous customer of Kat’s New and Used Books, was overheard at a small diner in the Infin8 guild’s area. The man was talking about the wards around the shop, and how he knew someone that worked there was a strong meister. And that’s when Fynn got the idea.

Magic.

Maybe, the trick to unlocking the collars needed more than just tech.. but actual magic. Maybe something could stop them. Thankfully, Fynn had an in. Aniyah worked there. His false memories that were implanted into his brain had many truths to them. All of those with collars remembered their fake memories of conversations that never happened.

Goals
Go to the bookstore and find a way to get Kat to help you.

    FREEDOM

Fynn successfully got Kat to agree to help him. They both had the same end goal, save those with the collars and destroy them. No one should have that kind of power over others.

It is time to work some magic. Late at night Fynn needs to bring the collars, his laptop and all his notes on his work so far. It's time to watch a meister work, and together they can learn how to override the fail safe.

Spells, wards, potions, and even zombies need to be used. Fynn should be prepared to think on his toes.....

    Goals
Go to Kat's place with all the tools needed.
  • You will need to try a few different things and have them fail, before finally feeling confident enough to test it on a zombie.....It will fail

    FREEDOM

The trade marked collars worn on a few Lochstone residents have been a tough puzzle to figure out. Little did anyone know, Fynn had spent months working on them. It took the help from meister, Kat Ruiz to finally figure out the answer. It wasn't just technology The Forgotten ones used. Oh no. They used magic as well. The magic was the protective barrier around the collars, and compelled the central nervous system to obey.

Once Kat and Fynn figure out how to get the collars off without killing someone, they needed to work out the kinks on how to save the others, and not alert The Forgotten one's what they were up to. That's where planning came in, and proving it was possible to remove the collars.

The magic wasn't easy to control, so it was imperative they did their demonstrations over time, and they had friendly looking zombies with them. After all, who did you think was the guinea pig for them? Yes, Kat had to sacrifice many zombies. One by one, Fynn found the remaining collared people thanks to his computer skills. He and Kat took a zombie with them to each person's house, and showed them what they could do. It was explained to them why they all had to be at the same place, and why Kat needed time to recover before she could soak up the magic from the collars.

The day finally came. October sixteenth, at ten in the evening. Fynn, Kat, Sofia, Kyan, Aniyah, and Jack all came to Kat's new and used books to have their collars removed. The reason it was at Kat's place was in case anything went wrong, all her spells, books, and potions were on hand. The shop was closed for the day so it could be rearranged for the night. A large opening in the back of the store held a pentagram on the floor in salt. The wards were stronger than ever for the night. Kat needed the outside world far away. Anyone that came near the shop would find themselves with the urgent need to run four miles away. The inside was soundproof and Kat prayed over and over that this would work. Fynn and Kat spent over a month practicing to get it right. Every detail had been planned down to a millisecond.

Once it was go time, everyone had been instructed to their spot on the star. Kat stood in the middle with an empty spot behind her for Fynn because he was needed to catch the mesiter. As soon as Kat nodded, Fynn started the final tweaks on the collars. Each one needed a minor adjustment to the technology, and time was ticking. They were sure The Forgotten ones would be on high alert with the whole group together, even more so, once the collars were fiddled with. Thankfully, Fynn teleported to each person till he was in his spot.

That was when Kat pulled the magic from the collars.

At once Sofia, Kyan, Aniyah, and Jack's collars moved slightly as the meister pulled unseen magical force away from them. It was evident she was pulling too much too fast, but Fynn and Kat knew this was a possibility. They had to beat the fail safe.

Once the magic was off the collars, all four fell of their owners at the same time. Meanwhile Kat redirected the magic into her luxin leg. It needed to go someplace and it was the fastest way to save the others. The meister fell to the ground and cried out in pain. Fynn's job was to get the collars off the floor and teleport them at the agreed spot. Just in case they blew up. (Later, Fynn and Kat would destroy the collars. No one should ever have that power over another)

The moment he was back the magic in her leg couldn't be contained anymore. It was too much. Too powerful. Her luxin leg shattered, and the vir tattoo on Kat spread. Fynn, who was trying to help Kat was hit with a shard of luxin leaving a large scar on his chest. Luxin and magic were a dangerous combination. That was going to do something... but what?

On the bright side, Sofia, Kyan, Aniyah, and Jack were free from the collars. Free from The Forgotten ones. But, there was still work left to do. Fynn needed to go to The Shinga. He needed to tell Julian what happened.

    Goals
You have a meeting with Julian. Don't be late
  • Time to explain what you did
  • Reach at least 3 post each
  • Tag Delphi when you're done. Prizes will be coming.

    DONATION PLOT

    JIPPED -- PART 1

    Chained … Early morning

The offer of coin made the owner of Chained eyes sparkle like diamonds. It was a simple request, not one that could be denied based on simple sensibilities. Allow the use of Chained late into the night… And the presence of a whore. And so the money was given and Chained remained open. It allowed the operation the ability to enforce its employees to “work” through the night as well, a chance to increase profit… An event of sorts though poorly executed and very few customers were actually present by the time the clock struck four am.

Barely any employees remained, having hung up their chains and whips in favor of soft satin sheets on bare flesh--with or without company. No money to be had here. Among those that did remain were the guest harlot for whom the entire “event” was arranged… And Kyan.

The halls of Chained were eerily quiet, normally the sounds of moans of pleasure and upbeat metal music echoed but instead only the soft tapping of the harlot’s heels towards the “employee lounge” could be heard. Inside the lounge, Kyan sprawled immodestly on the red velvet couch, half naked and covered with drying sweat and glitter lotion. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and sex, though visibly it was immaculately well kept. Violet’s charge for the evening--the proprietor of this event—was left sleeping in the provided quarters, a happily served client.

Food was laid out on several tables, likely long past its 'good by' time considering the hour, and just when Violet considered nabbing some of the better-looking vegetables from the tray a dominatrix clad in her usual attire waltzed into the room, a letter in her hand. Finding Violet, the dominatrix almost shoved the letter into the woman's hands and walked out without a word.

      Dearest,
I spent all of my physical cash renting out the establishment. I'm sure they'll pay you in that money. In the meantime, I'm sure this trinket is worth something.

Taped to the letter haphazardly was a antique silver necklace. The gem within shimmered even in the dim lighting of the room. While pretty, it's monetary value was questionable.

    Goals

      1. React anyway within character, a minimum of two posts per person and you will move on to part two.

      2. Someone puts on the necklace.

      3. Tag Delphi when you're ready.

    DONATION PLOT

    NEW WORLDS-- PART 2

The necklace fell beautiful across the chest of the wearer, as if hanging perfectly the chain resized to its wearer. As it fell across the breast the moonstone within exploded in a brilliant wave of red and bright white light, encompassing both Violet and Kyan. Blinded, they reached for each other. Some sort of stabilization as their world around them wrenched and swayed. When the light resolved, blearily they blinked into the 'room' and found themselves… definitely not in Kansas anymore.

The sky was red, an orange color burst as if the sun were dying. The clouds, however few, were a sickly gray color and all the grass was brown. Everything was dead. The wind blew softly and the few living plants swayed in kind. The city in the near distance lay in ruin and rubble, nothing but sand and broken concrete blocks. But, yet, somehow they had an old quality, as if they had not been built in the century from which Violet and Kyan were very accustomed. The entirety of the city was destroyed, no living organisms save for plant-life seemed to wander regardless of how long they walked through the cobblestoned streets. In the distance, up a long cliff-ledge overhanging the ocean they assumed was their home-ocean, was a brilliant intact lighthouse. The only thing intact in the entire city, really.

    Choices

      1. Explore the ruined city. AND/OR

      2. Explore the lighthouse.

      3. Reach a minimum of 6 total posts before tagging Delphi (3 each minimum, feel free to exceed this and tag after if you're not ready).

When You're Ready for Part 3

Tag Delphi when you are ready for part three. The ultimate goal is to find a way home if you'd like to play off that and this world is not part of the one they know and love (literally anything is possible). From here, there is no set scenario. While I do have a general direction I'm imagining, I'd like you to be in control of your plot and will twist and turn as you guys explore/write.

    DONATION PLOT

    THE BARREN LAND-- PART 3

The top floor of the lighthouse was not what was to be expected. The top of the stairs broke away to a loft of sorts, and someone had clearly been living there. And it was clearly someone with expensive tastes. To the left, the bed, though small to fit in the room, was lavished with satins and silks, was that gold embroidery? And draped with mesh canopy for some semblance of privacy, though scattered across the comforts seem to be a number of moonstones. It appears the same material lies within the necklace worn by the guests. There was a privacy curtain, a vanity complete with toppled over jars… all empty. Directly opposite from the entrance was a ladder, clearly leading up to the blinking and turning light that shown down into the bay. And last, to the right… was a wall painted black as if flame had licked any of the wallpaper clear away, scorched and foreboding but the bright red brick behind was mostly intact. The window directly next to it, exploded, shattered glass twinkled in the red-light from the opening. Something had clearly occurred here.

Mixed within the glass shards were burned pieces of parchment paper, clearly old and previously ripped. On the desk from where the paper came, was a leather bound journal. Most of the handwriting was illegible, the beginning very readable with skilled pen and evidently time had been taken for those entries, but as timed passed… words became scramble, sentences made no sense and above all… it seemed barbaric. Despite the inability for either party to read the language it was in, the more the pages are turned the more the pen-shapes take different form across the pages. Until eventually… the entries show in the native language they both know. Magic. The last legible entry read:

I have been stuck in this dreaded realm for far too long. I believed my captor, that dreaded blade, to grow a heart some time in the last several decades. It does not appear so, and those monsters below hold no value as minions. Though they do seem to grow restless as my development of this world. The city beneath my foot is barren, unused, and simply falls to the wayside. Time wasted.

I will write, however, that moonstone resonance by my window grows more and more each day. I believe it will eventually open, held closed and strong by the Blade. It is why I originally made this lighthouse as I saw the twinkling from below. Admittedly the addition of the light was fruitless, a false hope written across a barren land. But once she opens it… I will be ready for my escape.

I fear… however, the link to my abilities wasting away by every day. The connection between this dread realm and the other appears to wane and wax. I am curious as to why.

      Time to address the monstrosity.

      D//////////

The signature was burned away, obscured by scorch marks.

    Goal

      1. Reach 4 posts minimum (2 each).

    Challenge

Do your characters know their heritage... their legends? Decipher who would have written the letter, and who the letter is speaking about. Hint: They are both current and active characters on site.

    When you're ready

Tag Delphi, however, keep in mind WE are shaping this world right now. You may have the monsters come out of somewhere or have something happen, or go someplace I don't necessarily know of. Feel free to make things go other than just looking around and touching things. You're not limited to only reactions. Create!

    DONATION PLOT

    THE MOONSTONE CAVE-- PART 4

The screech of the monsters sounded from above out the window they had jumped, but it was as if they were afraid of whatever lay beneath the surface of the ocean. And it was no wonder when the thing tried for Violet, and it was sheer luck that they pulled themselves up onto shore without so much as barely an incident. But even being on the shore, something didn't feel safe. The dying sun began to set and it grew colder in the short time that they remained on the beach.

Walking any length down the beach would result in finding a small cave lit by the same kinds of moonstones that resembled the necklace. Just like the lighthouse upstairs. Maybe this was where the moonstones had been mined? It appeared as if fires once roared in a stone fire-pit just within the cave, and there was a shelter quality about it that couldn't be argued about. Fires were started easily using tools and flints around the cave, it had clearly long been abandoned so it appeared the monsters in the lighthouse did not use such tools.

The sun set, but it was not any ordinary night. There was no moon to provide any glimpse of light. Only the flickering flame, but even that felt odd. A less-orange and red and more blue to the fire than either of them would have seen before. This worlds colors were off and it was clearly overridden with darkness. The screeches came from outside the cave entrance periodically, but none seemed too close. The danger of the ocean was too much for them, not that Violet or Kyan would have known as such.

Eventually, the exhaustion of their bones and muscles would lead to fitful sleep. And when they awoke in the very early hours of the morning, still dark outside, the fire embers barely burned. Awoken by cold and hunger. But something undoubtedly noticeable, the moonstones seemed to glow. Upon inspection, they glowed even brighter… with the larger one in the necklace nearest to them.

    Goal

      1. Reach 4 posts minimum (2 each).

    Donation Prompt End

Okay guys, donation plot end. You are more than welcome to play this further but the moonstones are your key home. The moonstones will essentially explode if you touch the one in the necklace with a cluster of them in the cave, the explosion will deposit you somewhere in Lochstone. You are more than welcome to stretch out the prompt (you don't have to say everything I just said above happened all at the same time if you don't like).

Once you both reach a minimum of 2 posts each, tag me and I'll do prizes.

    Scion of Ferrilux

    H I S T O R Y

You are the Scion of Ferrilux. The Super Violet color god. Your oldest memory is as an Icelandic Viking in the year 800. You led many voyages across seas to find and claim land. It was a great honor to be a viking, and not many were cut out. From a young age you worked hard to be the best. There was no denying, you were the best. As you climbed the ranks you made many enemies, but gained more admirers. People followed you, some even seemed to worship you. And that was while you were human!

One night when your group invaded a small village you met your end. Or you thought you would. It was a battle against a worthy opponent. Many thought you were killed, and maybe you were. As you believed you were going to travel to Valhalla, and maybe that's what it really was or that's what Ferrilux wanted you to believe. Instead, you were brought to a great room where the mighty Ferrilux sat looking down on you. The color god felt he was the ruler of all the others. After all, he was the best warrior of them all. Sure Dagnu made a decent ruler... but he wasn't a fighter. Where was the honor?!

Ferrilux chose you as his scion. You were worthy to walk among the mortals in his stead. You were given you life back to the surprise of the vikings that followed you. It was proof to them, you were a god.

For many years you traveled pillaging villages and taking the spoils of mortals and materialistic things. Even after the viking era was over, you loved the sea. Conquering had to slow down, and instead, you became an explorer. Never staying in one place too long. No place in the human world was good enough for you.

Till a trip to New Zealand.

You met Ceur'caelestos, The Blade of Heaven. You were enamored with her right away, but her heart belonged to another. A mortal. As the Scion of Ferrilux you would have been the best lover possible! You could have given the world. She was the first woman to deny your advances. She turned you down. For years you tried to convince her why she would be better off with you. After all, your pride couldn't be hurt... in the end. It was.

After years of watching her love another, you left, but only for a short time. Your pride was too wounded. You had to have her! Once the man was older you traveled back to New Zealand, you knew this time, you could prove you were the better lover. Of course, when you were back in the village the man was still alive, but you knew... out right killing him wouldn't work. Not like it used to. Instead, you decided to poison the old man. Unfortunately, even after he was gone, Ceur'caelestos still didn't go to you for comfort.

Your pride was broken, and the village began to worship the woman you loved. You could have ruled with her on your side! Instead, you were banished from the village.

Since then no one has compared to her in your eyes. You've taken countless lovers since, but your pride still is a bit sore. You haven't come across Ceur'caelestos since then.

    P O W E R S

Luxin of Ferrilux You are capable of drafting super violet luxin endlessly, making you able to create invisible walls and markings, and elaborate traps like no other. You can see it perfectly, without the use of glasses. You do not have a halo and never risk becoming a color wight. You are also able to manipulate the super violet luxin of other drafters, changing how it forms at will. As well you can cause a super violet drafter's halo to fill up faster or slower when they draft, forcing them closer to breaking the halo, and lastly you can force super violet color wights to obey your commands. You may draft for up to 24 hours before you will enter a coma for a weeks time.

Icarus Complex: Throughout the ages, Pride has always been a downfall for many in mythos. While Ferrilux is the embodiment of it, he also encompasses its downfalls as powers. The Icarus Complex allows every Prideful mythos downfall that has ever occurred to be manipulated by Ferrilux. Icarus' wings? Yep. But they burn quickly, don't fly too long. Niobe's hubris damned her and her penance had been to turn to immobile stone, absolutely. The indestructible Titanic, makes you temporarily invulnerable. This is nearly a limitless power, careful with research.

Hubris: Ferrilux has the ability to fan the flames of pridefulness and feed off of it, empowering your other abilities as a demi-god. This ability also causes you to hear the voice of the real Ferrilux, while other Scions believe themselves to be the mortal embodiment of their 'parent', you know differently. You know that you were 'adopted' and 'empowered' by the real God, it happens to be the only thing you're not Prideful about.

Weakness - Your magic can also be trapped in PURANA: mirror of pride If this happens you lose all of your abilities and become mortal and quite squishy until the mirror is broken. You are incapable of using your abilities without light. Any of your abilities, meaning in the darkest night you are quite vulnerable, though still immortal.

    P L O T

Through a network of resources, you've learned that the latest incarnation of Ceur'caelestos has made herself known, and present, in an inordinately powerful hub dubbed Lochstone by these mere denizens. In addition to that, you've heard tell of other scions that you feel the necessity to overpower, collect and command. Ultimately, the goal is to get Ceur'caelestos to fall madly in love with you and exact your revenge, though that seems nigh impossible.

In your quest to find Ceur'caelestos and the other color gods, you've learned of the Spectrum. Though your knowledge of them is twisted, you believe them to act as "king" to an empire as a whole. Believing this to be true, you should control this Empire, no? You are, after all, a God. Though you are a warrior at heart and really don't want to be tied to a station, controlling the Spectrum (or at least one) would seem to suffice your desires.

    I T E M

Viking Axe Bracelet: In this modern day it's hard to carry around your trusty weapon! Thankfully for you, long ago a mesiter cast a spell on this axe so it could shrink down and fit on your wrist. It doesn't set off metal detectors, and easily hidden from the world. (After all, a viking can't be expected to walk around virtually naked, no matter how badly we might want to see it)

Your axe has been a part of you since the beginning. When needed, you just have to take the bracelet off and say the incantation 'Turn this axe from a molehill to a mountain.' and bippity boppity boo, you're axe is in your hand ready to go. It never dulls, and is sharp enough to cut through bone. The down side? (Other than the silly phrase) You can only call it to your aide twice a day. After that, it needs to 'recharge' for a full day.
